The Carlsbad Village Business Association began in the late 70's as the Village Merchants Association and was established as a non-profit corporation in 1994. From the beginning its purpose was to promote and support the businesses located in the vicinity of Carlsbad Village. CVBA membership is wide and diverse, comprised of approximately two hundred gift and clothing boutiques, eateries, jewelry stores, antique shops, specialty shops, toy stores, salons, professional services, spas and a winery. The majority of these businesses are owner operated, creating a more personal and inviting experience every time you visit.
